1. Plan Ahead - From the time your prescription is called in give the pharmacist atleast 30-60 minutes to fill your prescription before going to the pharmacy.
2. Know the Time - Pharmacies can get busy so plan your visit during non-peak hour times. Call and ask what times that might be at your pharmacy.
3. Check For Errors - Doctors are well known for their bad hand writing. Make sure your prescription is written clearly to avoid delays.
4. Be Polite - Pharmacists are human beings. Be polite and let your pharmacist know how much you appreciate what they do.
5. Be Prepared - Have everything you need out of your pockets and into your hand. Remember you being ready makes others in line get in and out faster also.
6. Make An Appointment - Don't try to get a medicine review last minute. If you have questions call and make an appointment with your pharmacist.
